Apricot Tart


1 1⁄4 cup - organic unbleached all-purpose flour
1⁄2 teaspoon - Kosher salt
1 tablespoon - granulated sugar
1 - stick unsalted butter (chilled and cut into 1 inch pieces)
1⁄4 cup - ice water
1⁄4 teaspoon - Pure Vanilla Extract
Organic Raspberries (optional)
Almonds (optional)


Prep Time - 15 minutes      Cook Time - 30 minutes

  • Blend the flour, salt and sugar
  • Add the butter and vanilla extract and blend together
  • Add the water in slowly until it becomes a dough
  • Spread the dough into a 12-inch tart pan and then bake for 15 minutes until lightly browned at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  • After the crust completely cools, spread the Mediterranean Organic Peach Apricot Preserves and add raspberries and almonds if desired; bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown
